Dr. Holly Duck of Bone & Joint Surgery is pleased to begin offering Platelet-Rich plasma or PRP therapy during surgeries on injured tendons, such as rotator cuff and Achilles tendon repairs. Using the patient’s own blood, a specially prepared platelet membrane is formed and placed at the tendon repair site.
