Ultrasound Services
Bone & Joint Surgery Associates is pleased to be able to offer patients access to on-site ultrasound that will be used to perform diagnostic scans of muscles, joints, tendons and soft tissue. The system will also be used to perform ultrasound guided injections.
As compared to other cross-sectional modalities, ultrasound is a powerful diagnostic tool that is portable, offers quick scan time and is easily tolerated by patients. The dynamic, real-time imaging permits personal interaction with the patient, resulting in a more directed examination specific for each individual. The addition of ultrasound offers Bone & Joint Surgery patients direct and convenient access to another specialized service on-site.
